Who can participate and why should I?

Every homeowner with a connected parking space living in the EU, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Iceland, Norway or UK.

(Naturally you must have the necessary rights for NectarAMP to perform installation work in your premises when the device is installed.)

Enrollment means that you're at the head of the queue when we start the delivery of the NectarAMP devices because, especially in the beginning, they will be highly limited and sought after. You are not committing to any payments whatsoever at this point.

You will be guaranteed one device for free (a limited-time, exclusive offer). You will not own the device but instead you will be allowed to use it fully, in a similar fashion as you'd subscribe for software. You can think of it as if the device was rented out to you. (Naturally you'll have to agree to our applicable Terms of Use.)

The basic installation will also be free (with limitations depending on the infrastructure) for those who have signed up and fulfil their sharing quota (minimum of 3 sharees who've also signed up). There will be a nominal monthly subscription free which you can decide later on whether it's worth paying for. We believe it is!

After all, the benefits of NectarAMP device (itself worth more that 10 000 €) are uncanny and most definitely worthwhile.

What's the catch?

Our energy storage devices will be connected to one another. Being a part of the larger energy storage device network makes it possible to enjoy electricity bills that are next to nothing for two key reasons:

1. It enables us to participate in electricity reserve and balancing markets

2. It allows us to harness time-shifting techniques and utilize AI optimization to mitigate electricity price volatility

How is it possible to offer the expensive device for free?

We understand that high upfront costs of energy storage systems are difficult to bear for most of us and thus can hinder the progress towards full utilization of clean energy and net-zero goals. That's why NectarAMP finances the device by participating in the electricity reserve and balancing markets, all while ensuring your electricity prices remain low and stable. In a normal situation, there will be an initial startup fee when one begins the use of the NectarAMP service. However, if you're among the first 1 000 to sign up, this fee will be omitted and you will get the device at your disposal completely free of charge. How great is that?

How is it possible to achieve fast EV charging at home?

Your home's electricity grid connection may not have sufficient power for fast EV charging. Whereas, in our solution, we use the same home battery pack that powers your residence to store electricity specifically for the use of your EV. This battery pack is custom-engineered by us to deliver the necessary power output to enable fast EV charging.

Is it possible to connect my solar panels to this device?

Yes! We're all about maximizing energy efficiency. Often, solar production peaks when electricity prices are low. Our system empowers you to employ the same time-shifting methods we employ in our grid operations. Thus, you can store cheap (or free) electricity for later use instead of wasting it because there's no use for it at that time.

What's the monthly fee, capacity and charging speed?

As our product is still in development, we haven't made a final decision on all the features it contains. We're aiming for a capacity between 20-30 kWh and a DC power output between 40-60 kW to start with. The monthly subscription fee will vary a bit depending on a few things, for example: your personal needs (consumption, power) and location, ranging from 9,90 € to 49,90 € per month.
